Haze OS Core Edition is based upon the Cinnamon Desktop Environment by the Linux Mint team. We tweaked it heavily aesthetically as well as in terms of functionality to deliver an easy-to-use and pleasing user experience. We used the Vertex GTK theme for the Windows, Vibrance icon theme which is an hybrid of Moka and Breeze's icon sets. The shell theme we used is called 'Tyr Himn' which is in turn tweaked to bring a uniform look and feel throughout the Operating System. There's a built-in voice recognition feature by pressing F6, Desktop Cube by pressing Ctrl+Alt+[Arrow Keys], Hot Corners for managing different activities going on in your system.

The Cinnamon DE provides the best hardware integration and the most simplistic interface. Thus matching the Haze OS's "Simplicity'" philosophy. Haze OS core edition adds some extra extensions and spices to the overall look and feel of the OS with some gorgeous looking themes- Icons, Shell GTK, etc. Apps are renamed around the Shell to provide a familiar UI to both the worlds- The new comers to Linux as well as the Linux enthusiasts. Linux's defects
Minority users but it is growing rapidly!Linux based Desktop Operating Systems are the least used OSes in the World. This is also the cause for having the least number of apps and services when compared to Windows or any other competitors. The Linux Community from the past few years have worked pretty hard to solve this problem. Due to this generosity, both the number of it's users as well as the power has risen a lot but in any way it's not in par with Windows. Our goal is not to gather big numbers but to serve quality stuff to people. Here's a video that will explain to you in a better way.

Extreme gaming & Professional Video EditorsHigh end Video Games are only now starting to take shape in the Linux eco system. Games like Portal and Distance are some of the great examples and they can be grabbed from the Steam gaming client. The professional video editing softwares are only now shaping up in Linux. You might want to run Adobe After Effects, Sony Vegas Pro or Hitfilm with WINE which aren't considered as native applications and do not offer quality performance as in native applications. However, Lightworks and Kdenlive are the currently popular video editors on Linux. Haze OS isn't a beast when it comes to running Windows applications.
